Client Policies
The Traveling LMT, LLC, as a company, prides itself on three tenets: Transparency, Timeliness, and Respect. These are the guiding principles we utilize to run our company. As such, we expect that our clients will reciprocate those same values back to us. Listed below are our policies on cleanliness, cancellations, rates of services, and conduct of behavior. If any of these policies are unclear, please feel free to ask your therapist to clarify!
• Cleanliness
In order to help you in your journey of relaxation, healing, and rejuvenation, we at The Traveling LMT, LLC believe cleanliness is of the utmost importance. A clean space allows for a clear mind for the client and a safe working environment for the therapist. Listed below are ways to make sure that you and your space are primed for your session:
o Clients should be freshly showered for all sessions (at least 2 hours before session, 1 hour before if heavy exercise happens before the massage)
o A clear, neat space of at least 7ft x 9ft should be available for the therapist to set up and work in.
o Entry ways should be free of obstacles so that the therapist can safely bring in their equipment.
o Space set aside for the session should be freshly vacuumed/swept and free of any pet hair.
Pets should be put up or sequestered away from the space where the session should take place unless they are needed for medical reasons.
o If using your own equipment (massage table, yoga mat, etc.) they should be fully clear of debris and disinfected, per the instructions on the back of the cleaning solution before the session.
o If using your own sheets, they should be freshly laundered before the session with scent free detergent and dryer sheets, if possible.
o Please keep spaces being used for the session free of odors, if possible, i.e., smoke, candles, incense, perfumes, etc.
• Cancellations
We understand that life happens and that unforeseen events can occur. We just ask that you are honest and clear with us when those situations arise. Listed below are our guidelines for cancellations:
o Cancellations up to 24 hours before the session carry no penalty for the client.
o Cancellations may come in the form of an email, a phone call, or a text message to any of the listed forms of communication provided.
o If an unexpected event occurs after the 24-hour grace period contact The Traveling LMT, LLC, as soon as possible.
□ For the first offense: deposit will be withheld, and a note will be added to the client file.
□ Second offense: deposit will be withheld, and client will get less priority for booking.
□ Third offense: deposit will be withheld, and client will be “fired” and no longer able to book with The Traveling LMT, LLC.
• Rates of Services
In-home clients of The Traveling LMT, LLC. can schedule a massage appointment based on the modality that they would like to receive such as General Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Trigger-Point Release, and/or Myofascial Release. Each service can be booked for either 60, 90, or 120 minutes and the client can choose to be either on the massage table or massage chair, based on their comfort and physical needs. A twenty percent (20%) deposit will be required upon booking. That twenty percent will go towards the final cost of the session. For corporate events, the only available option would be a General Relaxation massage on the massage chair for 20 minutes with 10-minute breaks every two (2) hours, and bookings lasting only eight (8) hours.
Pricing for services rendered for in-home clients is based on duration of services and location in relation to Columbus, OH. The closer a client is to Columbus, the more affordable the services. For corporate clients, the pricing for services rendered is one-flat rate for the event, which is set at $1,100. Price may vary depending on if another therapist is subcontracted for the event under The Traveling LMT, LLC.

○ 25-mile radius around Columbus, OH:
□ 60-minute massage rate: $110
□ 90-minute massage rate: $150
□ 120-minute massage rate: $190
○ 26–45-mile radius from Columbus, OH:
□ 60-minute massage rate: $150
□ 90-minute massage rate: $190
□ 120-minute massage rate: $230
○ 46-75-mile radius from Columbus, OH:
□ 60-minute massage rate: $190
□ 90-minute massage rate: $230
□ 120-minute massage rate: $270
○ 76-mile and < radius from Columbus, OH:
□ 60-minute massage rate: $230
□ 90-minute massage rate: $270
□ 120-minute massage rate: $310
• *If booking a group massage (2-4 people) for services beyond a 25-mile radius from Columbus, OH, all subsequent massages after the initial massage will decrease the price to that of a local massage price. If booking a group massage with more than 4 (the max is 8) the price will decrease by $20 for local massages, and all massages that are not local will be set at the local price. Custom packages can be created based on the needs of the event, i.e., a hybrid of full-body and chair massages. Pricing will be discussed at the time of booking.
• **Prices will increase on a yearly basis approximately $5 to keep up with the rate of inflation and increased expenses.
• ***If client has their own table and sheets, price will decrease by $40.
• Conduct of Behavior
We have a zero-tolerance policy here at The Traveling LMT, LLC. Since the therapists must enter your space, there can be no gray areas. If the therapist feels uncomfortable, harassed, or violated, you will be put on a “Do Not Book” list and, depending on the severity of the claims, charges can be pressed. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual comments, lewd gestures, insisting on removing the draping material, inappropriately dressed when greeting the therapist, etc.
